1. Find the student and adjust the “Currently Homebound” Yes / No dropdown on the 201 custom demographics screen.

   1. Optionally, update the home bound notes.
      
      Example of the student alert when currently homebound = Yes

      

2. At the school level, you may want to drop the student from classes.

   1. Reasoning: This will “stop” any grades from being entered for the student.

   2. When the student comes back off homebound instruction, you can re-enroll the student back into classes. It’ll show as a drop then re-enter.

3. At the school level, update the student’s attendance for the date range where the student will be homebound.

   1. Note: If the student doesn’t have any classes at this point at JH / MIS - mark it only under daily.
