  • you will need a list of the students previous grades from his old teacher. The old teacher will need to follow these instructions to pull the dropped student’s grades. You can find instructions for that at the link below.

  • Pulling The Grades of a Dropped Student

  • Log into Powerschool and go to Power Teacher Pro

  • Navigate to the current class class that the student was enrolled in.

  • Create an assignment with the name of ‘Transferred in Grades’ assigned only to that student.

    • Give the assignment a name (possibly Transfer [Category Name] Grade), and choose an appropriate category.

    • Assign it only to the student who this applies to.

      • Under

      • the “show all” button

  1. Click the next to the class and then select only the student who this applies to.

  • on the list of students. This will un assign it from the whole class.

  • Select just the student you want, and continue on to the next tab.

Go back to the main assignment tab.

  • Leave the score type as points, and enter the total number of points from the individual student report

  • Go to the scoresheet and enter the number of points that the student received for the category weight and

  • then publish the assignment.

  • Rinse and repeat for each category that the student had in their old class.
