Rival 5 Mobile App Setup

You can use the Rival 5 mobile app to make and receive calls using your work extension.

Instructions:

Step 1. Obtain your QR code

In order to sign into the Rival 5 app, you are first going to need to retrieve a special QR code to log into it. To get your QR code, complete the following:

• On your computer navigate to https://min201.rival5.net/

• Click Sign in with Google

• Once logged into the portal, navigate to the button in the top right corner with your extension, click on it to expand a menu, then navigate to ‘QR Code’.                                                            

  

• The QR code should now appear on your screen, leave this open while we continue onto the actual app.

Step 2. Download the app to your phone

The next step is download the “Vodia” app onto your phone, and login using the QR code.

• Download the Vodia Phone app from your phone’s app store                         

  

• Hit allow on anything the app asks to use.

• At the sign in screen, select scan QR code, and scan the QR code on your computer  screen.                                                                                      

  

• Once you sign in, you are all set. Your app functions the same way as your physical desk phone in your classroom.

• You can also use https://min201.rival5.net/ on your computer to use a browser version of your phone using your computer’s audio.

• Note: Most people elect not to receive calls on their smartphone app, and use this app for calling out. To accomplish this, turn off “Call cell phone” option below.
