Sync Lunch Transaction Balance with Current Balance

Received some angry emails from parents where they say that their balance is x but the school messenger email went out said y?

Looking at the student’s lunch transactions and see that the current balance vs the running balance isn’t the same?  

How to fix this?  Run a sync so get the current balance to match the running balance (which is the actual correct one).

  1. Click on MBA Cafe from the Start Page

  2. Click on Cafe Manager Screen

  3. Click on Check Balances

    1. Does the entire building

  4. Click on “Recalculate Balances”

  5. This shows you everyone whose lunch transaction balance and current balance is not in sync with each other.  You can individually recalculate one student’s balance or you can click recalculate for everyone on the list.


After doing so, go check a student who was on the list and the two balances between running and current will match.

Why does this matter?  The current balance is the field that is being pulled into School Messenger and emails are being sent out based on the current balance (at the top)
