Background

Callone (current telecom provider) is ending our TDM/PRI contract in November of 2020 and we need to go to SIP. This would reset our contract renewals to November, making it hard to really look at new VOIP solutions/providers since any big change over should be done in summer.

Current state

Quick Notes To Do:

Before Flipping

• Get Recordings and upload to New Server
• Export Extension and update new secrets
• Get Phone configs and update for the switch over

After Flipping - Must Do Right Away

• Import Front Office Extensions
• Create Ring Group for the Front Office
• Create IVR for outside number
• Create Misc Application point to IVR
• Go on other phone servers if needed to update Outbound Routes to point to new server - if needed

Other Tasks

• Create Time conditions and Time Groups
• Call Pickup groups - for secretaries
• Move 007 config over
• Move Voicemails over
• Check FAX DID is correct
• Parking Lots
• Change TFTP Boot Option in DHCP to Point to 10.7.10.7
• Test tftpboot is working for phones
• Setup the directory
• Update side car programming and the names

• David Plaskett Create IVRs from other buildings on MES side. (Day nights etc).  Build as we transfer phones /systems over.
