Quarterly Teacher having to go back to previous quarter:

...

“A”/”B” day specific or Changing a previously completed quarter

For an already completed quarter rotational class or where the class is an “A” day, but today is a “B” day and the chair / take attendance icon is greyed out, click on multi-day attendance, instead of the regular "take attendance" / chair icon.

...

When here, you can then change the attendance code for the day in the past.  The darker colored days were days that school wasn't in attendance, while the lighter grey were days where the class met but historical attendance cannot be changed. . leaving Friday, 1/12 that can be changed.

MIS A-B Day SCI/SS Info:

So, I did a quick dive.  Currently we're allowing up to 7 days of attendance to be backfilled, so ideally they have the option to choose it... however... your 6th grade A/B day for SCI/SS schedule kind of throws a wrinkle into it.

According to PowerSchool.. Friday, 1/12 was an "A" day and Tuesday, 1/16 was a "B" day.  (Currently, Friday 1/19 is an "B" day).

From a class that meets on both A and B days, this is what the dropdown looks like -- you can enter both Friday and Tuesday's eLearning days.

...

Conversely, from a class that meets only B days -- you'll only see the "B" day classes for those days that the class meets.... which would have only been Friday, Jan 12th for eLearning and NOT Tuesday, Jan 16th.

...

Wrinkle is the "A" day classes... because currently you can't take the attendance (today, Jan 19th) in the 'chair icon' / single day attendance.. until Monday, which is when the "A" day classes meet again according to PowerSchool.

...

Workaround -- teachers choose "Multi-day attendance", which teachers can then put in their attendance for Tuesday using the same mechanism as before... it's just multi-days on a single page.  The dark greyed out lines are days when the class doesn't meet, and then the shaded out lighter grey are days where the previous attendance can't be edited.

While the “whiter” column is the day(s) where it can get changed.
