If taking over for the remainder of the school year:
Outgoing Teacher does:
Turn on Gmail vacation responder with replacements email
Create a folder of documents for the new teacher (if applicable). Share this ahead of time with the new teacher
New Teacher does:
Check PowerSchool, Clever, Drive, etc. for access
?? Add external clever apps (such as Xtramath, clever rostered not district managed) to their page
Create an XtraMath account - rosters will be automatically updated and then the students will be able to log into XtraMath.
Principal does:
If the dates change either left or right from the original paperwork please let Lori / HR and technology know.
Let’s Tech know if the outgoing teacher should remain in their email groups.
Tech Does:
In Powerschool - add the covering teacher as the lead teacher for the remainder of the school year.
This will change the lead teacher from teacher A to teacher B in various systems such as Clever, Digits, HMH/GoMath/ThinkCentralSavvas, GoGuardian, etc.
Provide device with appropriate software (Sphere/Hovercam, Zoom, etc.)
Create accounts as if we were creating a new staff member (no GCN, ELN or Evaluwise required)
If NWEA MAP rosters existing - add the covering teacher to the NWEA rosters for reporting
If AimsWeb+ rosters exist - add the covering teacher to the AimsWeb+ rosters (K)
Special Education Office does;
If a case manager, PSYCH / SLP / SW - create PCG / EZIEP / MTSS Manager, etc. account.

If taking over for more than 2 weeks, but less than the remainder of the school year (IE: 2-3 months):
Meaning - the outgoing teacher is returning to work before the end of the school year.
BEFORE LEAVE STARTS:
Outgoing Teacher does:
Adds the covering teacher as a co-teacher in Google Classroom or Schoology.
Adds the covering teacher as a co-teacher in Go Guardian
Adds the covering teacher as an alternative host in Zoom?

Disables the new teacher account after leave is over.
