Kami is a PDF and Document annotation app for schools.

1. Go to Https://kamiapp.com and click the green Create Account button in the top right-hand corner.
    
2. Leave K-12 selected, and select Teacher
   

3. Enter the School zip code (must match your school), and then start typing your school name. It should start to populate the list. Select your school, then hit Finish

4. You are now registered with Kami! Our Education trial only lasts through April 30th (The current date of our state shutdown) Should that get extended, the trial will extend.

1. Navigate to Https://kamiapp.com and click 'Create an Account'
    
2. Select With Google 
   
3. Enter your Min201 Email address, followed by your password. 
4. The pop-up will close, and you will be brought to the Kami homepage. Your account is created, and you are signed in!

1. Open Drive, by going to drive.google.com
2. Right click on any PDF file
3. Hover over Open with 
   
4. Select Connect more apps
5. Search for Kami and select Connect
    

Create a Kami Assignment in Google Classroom

Create an assignment using the Create Kami Assignment button in Google Classroom. Note: This can only be done AFTER you have connected your Google Drive to Kami in the steps above.

Grading a Kami assignment in Google Classroom

After students have completed, and turned in their work using Kami via Google Classroom

1. Open the Classwork tab in Google Classroom.
   
2. Click on the Turned In tab.
3. Choose the student whose work you want to grade.
   
4. Click the Grade With Kami button.
   
5. You can now annotate and mark the assignment using the Kami tools. 
6. Click the blue Return button to send the feedback to the student.
