❓ Problem space

Why are we doing this?

Current document camera (Avermedia) is over 9 years old and they are failing. The actual quality of the camera is also not that great.

How do we judge success?

That teachers and students can visibliy see an improved quality of the document camera image being projected to the board.

 What are possible solutions?

New Models: Avermedia, Hovercam, IPevo

✅ Validation

What do we already know?

Smaller units that take up less space on the desk are preferred.

What do we need to answer?

The reliablity of the unit after a couple months of heavy use, and the ease of training for new staff when they are issued a new unit.

(thumbs up) Ready to make it

What are we doing?

Evaluating numerous models. Currently heavily leaning towards Ipevo model.

Why will a customer want this?

Scale and scope

Eventually, a district wide standardization would be preferred. At minimum, purchase them in bulk to make one building consistent at a time.
