Sending an email to parents via School Messenger
Automated phone call (and emails) for negative lunch balances goes out every Thursday @ 5p.m.

The method is the same exact way for sending an email.. Except for a few minor tweaks.
Some students are positive and others are negative? You’ll want to run this twice. Once for positive balances and another for negative balances.
The field you are going to insert is “speakable balance” - strange, I know.

If the balance is a negative, you’ll want to add the “-” before entering the speakable balance field.
Your email should look something like this:

What does that other lunch balance look like? I wouldn’t use it. It prints out as non-currency looking and parents will be calling you about this. We’re working on getting it removed (9/2018).
