Search for students by GPA
This is done after the term has ended, and grades have been stored/finalized. If you wanted only a certain selection of students, make sure you have those students as your selection first.
- Click on Special Functions on the left hand side.
- Click on “Search by GPA”.
- Under the ‘scan these’ option, choose either your selection of x students or the entire study body at the building.
For the above example, we’re only looking at 11 students out of the entire building. - Since we don’t do a cumulative GPA, you’ll use the section entitled “whose term GPA ___ is”
- Enter in the term that you are specifically looking for. This should match the storecodes of either Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4
- For that term entered, what criteria are you looking for? In this example, we are looking for all students GPAs which is less than 2.0 for Q1.
- In which method to find these students matching the criteria, choose the “weighted [term]” method. Since we’re looking for Q1 GPAs that are less than 2.0 we chose “Weighted Q1” as our method.
- Enter in the term that you are specifically looking for. This should match the storecodes of either Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4
Piecing this all together looks like this:
This will now give you those students who match the criteria that you searched for.
