What is Quizizz?

Quizizz is a online clever app that offers different tools to make the classroom more engaging and interactive. Its very similar to Kahoot

Creating a Lesson

1 - Click on the Create button from the left side of the Quizizz Explore page

2 - Choose Lesson

3 - Select Add a New Slide or Import Slides from Google Drive

4 - Choose a slide type or question type and add content, media & assessments/quiz

5 - Once you have finished editing, give your lesson a name/grade and click Save

Create an Assessment/Quiz

1 - Click on ‘Create’ on the left navigation pane and select the ‘Assessment’ or 'Quiz' option

2 - Click on ‘Create from scratch’

3 - Select a question type from the list of options available (Multiple choice, dropdown etc)

4 - Enter your question in the space provided. If your question requires answer options, enter them in the space provided and mark the correct ones with the green checkbox.

5 - You can choose to:

• A- Add an answer explanation for your students to view after attempting the    question 

• B- Set the number of points (ungraded questions will carry 0 points) 

• C- Set the time allotted for the question 

6 - Once you’ve completed your edits, save the assessment/quizz and give it a name.

NOTE: You can take existing Google Forms and import them into Quizizz

Reports

1 - After playing a game or running a lesson, You can pull a report of the number of participants in an activity, their accuracy and completion rate, the points and scores awarded to them, the average time taken to answer each question, etc.

2 - Click on ‘Reports’ on the left navigation pane and select the ‘Assessment’ or 'Quiz' you would like a report for

3 - You should then have easy access to all the your students data
