After student grades have been stored, the honor roll has been calculated, now it's time to archive those students whose preferred communication language = Spanish.

  1. Is it the end of a K-8th Quarter?

    1. Click on the advanced checkbox next to the search bar and this will allow us to do a multi-search and narrow down to just those students.

    2. Run the saved search entitled “Students whose home language = Spanish”.  This will put all the students in the building as your primary results (in the bottom search area).

    3. Go back to the start page.

    4. Search for all the students who are in grade level (NOT IN) Kindergarten in the search results.

    5. From here we want to narrow down those 2 search results to only those students who are not Kindergartens AND whose preferred language = Spanish, so click within.

      1. Alternatively, you could just copy and paste this search command:

grade_level#0;U_Stu_Custom_Demographics.Preferred_Comm_Lang=001

  1. From here we can go generate and archive the Spanish Report card.

    1. From the start page click on MBA Report Cards > Run Reports

    2. Select the appropriate report card.

    3. Make sure that the current selection of x# of students is selected.  Click Generate Report Cards.

    4. Wait for the blue overlay to disappear > click Archive Report Cards > Enter in the Q# Espanol 20xx-20xx.
