Find all students who have a D or F (or x Grade) in Y # of classes

Preferred Way:

  1. Data and Reporting > Reports > sqlReports

  2. Grades > Current Letter Grades Report - Minimum required

  3. Change Term to: Q1

  4. Keep use Current selection to No

  5. Enter Grades: ‘F’,’D’    (you will need the single quotes and comma)

  6. Most likely, put a 1 for minimum number to match

    1. Select 1, will show any kid with 1 D or F.

    2. If you put in a 2, then only students with at least 2 Ds or Fs (or 1D + 1F)

  7. Submit

Optionally: After the report, click ‘Make Current Selection’

After that, scroll down the printing reports option and print out progress report.

Old Way:

  1. From the start Page, click on Attendance

  2. Click Search by Grades/Attendance

    1. If you want to only see Q2 (before the grades are saved) change the term (in the upper right hand corner).

  3. Enter minimum # of classes needed to meet search criteria

  4. Check the box that says “Scan for this final grade”

    1. 1st dropdown change to Any =

    2. 2nd box:  Enter all the grades that you want to search for.  If using multiple separate with a comma. In this example, we’re looking for only D and F’s
      Example below:

  5. Scan for grades in:  Choose ‘current grades’ for the first dropdown.

  6. Scan for all classes enrolled - enter in today’s date - this will search for all classes currently enrolled as of [x] date.

  7. Submit.

To see a whole list of students who fit this parameter and then rifle through them, click the start page.  All the students who were in the selection are now set as your selection.
