Differences between State Attendance and Internal Attendance Tracking

State Attendance Tracking is used during the  attendance class (K-6th) or P1/advisory (JH only).  Every period in the day after period 1 is considered internal tracking purposes only.

At MIS since you are taking attendance for the state in the homeroom period, but you want to keep track for your records that the student was tardy to your class in 1st period, you’ll need to duplicate your attendance into Period 1.
